The Grinch Holiday Hair

My inspiration for this look was Cindy Lou Hoo from The Grinch movie.

Step 1: Shampoo the hair.

Step 2: Blow dry the hair away from the face.

Step 3: Part the hair down the middle, creating 2 sections.

Step 4: Part a circle at the crown of the head.

Step 5: Slick and braid the left and right sides of the 2 sections into 2 separate braids and make sure to tie the ends with a rubber band.

Step 6:  Bobby pin the ends of both braids to each side of the head just above the ear.

Step 7: Comb the crown of the head where the circle was parted and create an even smaller circle inside the first parted circle.

Step 8: Tease the second circle in a downward position and spray with a little bit of hair spray. You want to create a little bundle of hair in the middle.

Step 9: Flat iron the first circle pieces to make the outside look smooth. Wrap the flat-ironed hair straight up around the teased hair so it sticks straight up. Secure with a rubber band.

Step 10: After lightly spray the whole hair with hair spray standing about 3 feet away.

Step 11: Part each end of the left over hair from the braids and curl the ends towards you away from the head.

Step 12: Use a little more hair spray to make the curls hold.
