End Animal Testing for Beauty Products
Animal testing should be banned for beauty products in the US.
Animals are suffering and dying to test beauty products. About 500,000 animals die every year worldwide from animal testing. Personally it bothers me knowing that I use makeup everyday knowing it gets tested on animals and harming them. If animal testing was banned, I wouldn’t have to worry about it.
Additionally, there are other available alternatives to animal testing. Animal testing is very cruel and unnecessary and there are many other ways you can test products. For example, you could use human cells, tissues that are also known as vitro methods.
Finally, animal testing has already been banned in 41 countries. Animal testing has been banned in a lot of countries including countries like European Union countries, Australia, India, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway and South Korea. 325+ companies in the US also support banning animal testing.
